From an early age, I felt a profound connection to alternative therapies and Eastern medicine, particularly in the realms of plant medicine and the integration of mind, body, soul, and health. I recognized the importance of grounding this passion in a traditional educational background to establish credibility in both conventional and alternative medical fields. This led me to pursue and complete a Master of Nursing degree, with a focus on family medicine, from Mercer University in December 2017.
In April 2018, I began working as a nurse practitioner in an emergency department, a fast-paced and dynamic environment where I’ve honed my skills over the past six years. Throughout this time, I’ve continued my exploration of holistic and spiritual approaches to wellness, witnessing firsthand the transformative effects of hydration therapy, holistic and functional medicine, and balanced living on clients' health and well-being.
Through Gaia Functional Medicine, I am committed to offering personalized, one-on-one guidance and education to help clients achieve fuller, healthier lives. Both my traditional medical training and licensure as well as my functional medicine certification allow me to expertly care for the physical body, while my certification as a practitioner of Love and Authenticity equips me to address the mind and spirit, thereby fostering a complete mind-body-spirit connection.
